Cybersecurity Penetration Tester

Key Role:

Plan, coordinate, and perform red team and penetration testing technical assessments. Maintain communication between system owners and the assessment team, including before, during, and after test events. Develop test plans and perform management and administrative functions for the assessment team, including data gathering, exploit approval, and report generation after test activities. Maintain assessment team processes and procedures and manage the maintenance of the standardized testing platform. Develop check–ride procedures and conduct check–rides to certify new team members.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Python, PowerShell, or a similar programming language

-Experience with NMap, BurpSuite, MetaSploit, WireShark, and sqlmap

-Experience with Linux– or UNIX–based operating systems, including command line interfaces

-Knowledge of a penetration testing methodology

-Knowledge of TCP/IP networking

-Active Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Certified Ethical Hacker Certification

-Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with US Navy Afloat systems

-OSCP, LPT, or GPEN Certification a plus


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
